Death

11 Jul, 2013 04:32 AMLove and kindness is all around. Yet, loneliness is still found. By myself I'll always be, In a crowded room, I'll all but scream. Death is certain, this is known; You cannot run nor hide. In the darkness I await my time, Whilst you taunt me all the time. I could do it, I have the chance. Yet, I wait for you to come to my side. I answer death as if he was my friend Longing for his cold touch on my hand. A grand adventure could be found with him. Death alone holds me back. I silently wait for him to stop, Stop holding me back from my life. Existence is what I have, not life. Existing is what I do whilst I wait. Waiting for death's dark, cold grip, To slide his fingers around my neck. Wanting him so badly to grasp me; Yet, I wait for him so patiently. To take my life into my hands, To deprive him of his longing, Would slowly allow him to reign In lives that are not my own. So I wait and wait in a dark cold world. I silently suffer and wait my time, Waiting to walk into the light. And begin eternity by his side.
