My friend why are you so scared 
as I wish you no harm
but why do back away from me so?
oh my is it this
this is but a trivial shard
nothing but a piece of broken glass don’t
you see?

if my appearance offends thee
look away from the dark and to the light
but I suggest you not look too far away
but would recommend looking to the night as

great things hide in the shadow
