Why?

Why am I here?
I have no purpose,
No reason to live-
Am I even alive?

Why don't I fear
Pain or death?
I have nothing to give,
nothing to recieve
Why can't I feel
Alive?
Why?

Why can't I wake 
From this dream-
An endless nightmare
Stripped of fear-
Why?

And I forget 
Just why I stay
After all,
I can leave any day

The only question is
Why don't I?
