Black
Zane A. Murray
31 Oct, 2015 06:18 AMBlack is the color I wear, Black is the color I see, Black is what I bear, Black is what I decree, People upon people swallowing the halls, All stare at me with complete awe, Judgment is in the air and written on the walls, With this feeling I solemnly lock my jaw. Their eyes locked with mine, My music blasting in my ears, Acting like everything is totally fine, But really I am in tears. I fear that I’ll be left behind, That no one will even look, All the dark thoughts running through my mind, And me always hiding behind a book. I tell you that these people are cruel, That they only care about there social status, That they find it funny to break every rule, And that they don't even notice us. I wait for the day for me to be set free, That I might live in a day of light, That people will not harshly judge me, I really do hope that they just might.

Judge I don't, Listen I do. My smiles are like yours. Empty. Nobody understands, yet if you meet another like us, you understand them. I see your eyes bleed. As do mine.
