Oft times I would find myself feeling the strange sensation that she was staring into where my soul should be...if I had one I'm sure it would melt....
there's a serenity in shadow, it doesn't try to blind you with harsh rays or slowly burn you alive, unlike the lights need to be known, it's quiet and all too familiar. No one looks outside at night and gets surprised that it's dark in the Winter, it's for reasons such as this that I find comfort in Darkness, it's like an old friend that visits all the time just to hear your signs of relief and burdens you can't share with a person or the sun, never judging or begging to be known....just, there.
Today things are different. The darkness in the outside world has vanished, but the darkness in our hearts remains, virtually unchanged. Just like an iceberg, what we label the ego or consciousness is, for the most part, sunk in darkness. And that estrangement sometimes creates a deep contradiction or confusion within us.
the darkness that surrounds us cant hurt us,it is the darkness in your heart you shoud fear
Pain is only relevant if it still hurts
The undead rise up to do dreadful things
"After all, to the well-organised mind death is but the next great adventure".
People are motivated by justice, ambition, love, or hatred. No matter what a person does, no matter what they believe, their actions can be traced back to one of these motives. This is the truth.
Why are we afraid of the dark? Darkness is natural but light needs energy. If the sun was not made of fire, we'd be in total darkness.
What's the point of religion? If you really think about it, there are so many religions and beliefs, you don't know what's real and what's not.
